With the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award 2017, we are searching for people and companies who are shaping the world of tomorrow with their innovative, sustainable and profitable ideas and projects. What does participating in the SEA achieve for the submittors?

PRICE MONEY: The Best Project is awarded the jury prize of EUR 10,000. The best submissions are presented once a year as part of the grand SEA Event and also included in our communication activities around the SEA.

INVESTOR: The SEA Event starts with a pitching session in the morning. The 15 finalists of 2017 get the chance to present their idea/projects/company in front of our jury and potential investors. Also the celebration party in the evening is a good chance to get in touch with potential investors. We also have a big network of investors and with your consent we will also support suitable projects in searching for investors.

CONSULTING: We can provide specific consulting to help you with issues and questions especially from public funding.

Evaluation Process SEA 2017

The Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) supports the SEA team to evaluate all submissions based on scientific criteria to determine the finalists for SEA event in November.

The Center for Advanced Sustainable Management fosters research and teaching at Cologne Business School in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Management; bringing together scholars from various academic discipline as well as business and political leaders in order to enhance knowledge transfer. Through the training of future managers and practitioners, including football clubs and DAX companies, CASM actively shapes transformation processes. The main focus of CASM is to make Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainable management an integral part of business-related research and management training.

SEA Event 2017
The SEA was founded six years ago and in the meanwhile it became one of the leading, international sustainability awards. This year´s SEA event takes place at the end of November in Vienna (Austria). The date will be announced soon.

We start with the pitching session of the 15 finalists in the morning. After a lunch break we finish the presentations in the afternoon. The winners will be awarded at the big celebration party in the evening which is a great chance for networking and meeting potential investors. The participants are primarily about 200 entrepreneurs and investors.

Third Sustainability & Innovation Conference - ICT & the SDGs

This is the third edition of the Sustainability & Innovation Conference, organised by CSR Europe and Huawei.
