With EU-InnovatE, one of the current European Commission´s flagship research projects, and the TUM - Technische Universtät Munich we have won two new strategic partners. EU-InnovatE is coordinated by Prof. Frank-Martin Belz of the TUM School of Management. We will combine forces to identify and reward leading examples of new business creation which hold significant potential for accelerating the transition towards a sustainable European economy and society. As a first step Prof. Belz and his peers will develop the judging criteria to the selection process of the SEA 2015. With this we emphasize our high expectations to the constant advancement of our initiative to promote and fund innovative and sustainable companies/projects/ideas around the SEA. With EU-InnovatE’s academic and our practical point of view we are able to create new comprehensive approaches to support innovative and sustainable entrepreneurs in Europe.
Submit now and get the chance to win an award or find an investor!
The submission process for the SEA 2015 is running until August 31. We search for people and companies who are shaping the world of today and tomorrow with their innovative, sustainable and profitable ideas and projects.
We are happy to announce that in addition to the awards and the prize money of 10,000 Euro, our submitters have the chance to find investors for their projects. Hence, together with the Frankfurt School Financial Services ltd we are launching a special "SEA fund" with an aimed volume of 30 – 50 million Euro. From this, the most promising entries with capital requirements of more than 500,000 Euro will be funded in the future.
Moreover, for projects with capital requirements of less than 500,000 Euro, we build up an own platform to the specific amalgamation with investors.
EU-InnovatE is a three year interdisciplinary research project of the European commission which addresses the obstacles and prospects for sustainable lifestyles and green economy in Europe. It focusses on the four domains; energy, living, mobility and food.
Harnessing the expertise of 14 leading academic, think tank and network partners, it seeks to provide scientific evidence and analysis to test the feasibility and potential impact of achieving these scenarios through to 2050.

“Our strategic cooperation with SEA is a great opportunity to make a difference in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship in Europe and beyond. It is rare for large-scale research projects such as EU-InnovatE to have lasting impact on both science and society, but that is precisely what this partnership will allow us to do!“
We are happy to win ProSieben.Sat.1PULS4 as a new media partner for our initiative.
